This duplex apartment in a grand 1907 apartment building underwent a major renovation. Within the unique two-story great room, a new custom wood mantel, panel moldings, and plaster crown were added. New black steel doors connect the great room to the family room. Within the family room, new built-in bookshelves and a custom marble mantel are a focal point for the space. In addition, the existing stair off the great room was rebuilt with new oak steps, bronze spindles, and paneled storage below.
